I would have to say Stevie Wonder's "Songs In The Key Of Life" (1976). It's his masterwork. A double album, it garnered a few hit singles and has to date sold over 10 million units. There was a special EP that came with certain versions of the LP called "A Something's Extra" as well. Track Listing:
Disc One:Love's In Need of Love Today
Have A Talk With God
Village Ghetto Land
Contusion
Sir Duke
I Wish
Knocks Me Off My Feet
Pastime Paradise
Summer Soft
Ordinary Pain
Disc Two:
Isn't She Lovely
Joy Inside My Tears
Black Man
Ngiculela - Es Una Historia (I Am Singing)
If It's Magic
As (Always)
Another Star
A Something's Extra (EP)
Saturn
Ebony Eyes
All Day Sucker
Easy Goin' Evening (My Mama's Call)
It's amazing, and there isn't one track on there that doesn't move you in some way. It's still covered and sampled all the time.
Here are a couple of songs I thought I'd share from the album:
Show us something that makes you cross.

"Polly" by Nirvana. This is from their completely brilliant MTV Unplugged.
Yeah, not the happiest of songs, but as I thought it might be was the first video to come up on my name search.
Polly wants a cracker
I Think I should get off her first
I think she wants some water
To put out the blow torch
Isn't me...have a seed
Let me clip...dirty wings
Let me take a ride...cut yourself
Want some help...please myself
got some rope...have been told
promise you...have been true
Let me take a ride...cut yourself
Want some help...please myself
Polly wants a cracker
Maybe she would like some food
She asks me to untie her
A chase would be nice for a few
Isn't me...have a seed
Let me clip...dirty wings
Let me take a ride...cut yourself
Want some help...please myself
got some rope...have been told
promise you...have been true
Let me take a ride...cut yourself
Want some help...please myself
Polly said...
Polly says her back hurts
She's just as bored as me
She caught me off my guard
Amazes me the will of instinct
Isn't me...have a seed
Let me clip...dirty wings
Let me take a ride...cut yourself
Want some help...please myself
got some rope...have been told
promise you...have been true
Let me take a ride...cut yourself
Want some help...please myself
And um... yes! I'm actually posting! Last time posting here was what, January? *waves*
Audio: Share a great love song.
Angie, Angie, when will those clouds all disappear
Angie,
Angie, where will it lead us from here
With no loving in our
souls and no money in our coats
You can't say
we're satisfied
But Angie, Angie, you can't say we
never tried.
Angie, you're beautiful, but
ain't it time we said goodbye
Angie, I still love you,
remember all those nights we cried
All the dreams we held so
close seemed to all go up in smoke
Let me whisper in your
ear
Angie, Angie, where will it lead us from here
Oh,
Angie, don't you weep, all your kisses still taste
sweet
I hate that sadness in your eyes
But Angie, Angie,
ain't it time we say good-bye
With no loving in
our souls and no money in our coats
You can't say
we're satisfied
But Angie, I still love you, Baby,
everywhere I look I see your eyes
There ain't a woman
that comes close to you, come on baby, dry our eyes
But
Angie, Angie, ain't it good to be alive
Angie, Angie,
they can't say we never tried...
Show us something from the 80's
A Rubik's Cube. I remember when my brother and I each got one. We saved our allowance and went to Kabelin Hardware, which had a massive toy department on the upper floor, and got these and a Pyramid Puzzle. I actually got so frustrated that I took the stickers off and put them all back on the correct "solved" way. Haha!!
Take a picture of something that someone put a sticker on.
My *very* old stereo, with my Who and John Lennon stickers on the side. I'm going to be upgrading this system VERY soon. It's high and bloody time, though this system has served me well. :)
My computer has a couple of Classic Pooh stickers, including Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet, my favorites. So cute! These came with a calendar originally and I figured I should get some use for them. :)
My CD player with my way cool BPAL sticker that came with my last order. :)
